Best time to visit
This place can be visited throughout the year but the best time is considered to be between September to May. In winters you can enjoy various tourism festivals like the ‘Teesta tea and Tourism’ fest and various other adventure sports. The forests remain closed during rainy seasons.
How to Reach
By Road: Rongo can be reached via roadways from Siliguri or Bagdogra (95 kms). Buses are available till Pan Danda Gorubathan Bus Stop.
By Railways: There is no Rail station at Rongo but one can reach this place from NJP (Siliguri), 62 kms from Rongo.
By Air: The nearest Airport is Bagdogra Airport (97 kms) in Siliguri. From there you can hire a bus or private car.
