War Memorial: It is located at the centre of Batasia Loop, to commemorate the brave soldiers of Gorkha regiment who sacrificed their lives in various wars and operations after India’s independence for the country. The surrounding offers a great view of the city and mountaintops.
Monasteries: Yi Gha Choling Gompa and Samten Choeling Monastery near the Ghoom railway station and post-office area offers a unique insight into the cultural, religious and historical heritage of this area
Tiger Hill: Located at the altitude of 1100 ft, this hillock offers a grand view of Darjeeling and the surrounding area, and is famous for the amazing sunrise view with the glittering Kanchenjunga peak.

Rail: The nearest rail-station is New Jalpaiguri Jn. From there it is nearly 84 km away which takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach by car.
Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra, 91 km away and takes a car 4 hours to reach the place.
Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 640 km away and it takes around 17 hours to reach by NH12 or NH19.
Best Time To Visit:
Summer brings the best out of the weather here, along with the tourist, as the temperature stays within 8-20 degree Celsius. In winter it goes down near freezing point, but when the sun comes out, the mountains smile with the snow-covered peaks. Monsoon offers heavy downpour and road blockades occur sometimes owing to landslides.
