Murshidabad River Side Resort

Just by the river Ganges , Murshidabad River Side Resort is best budget effective yet nice place to stay in the land with both Heritage and nature

A few hours’ drive from Kolkata, Murshidabad is a unique combination of natural beauty and historical importance. It lies on the bank of the river Ganges, or as it is locally known as, Bhagirathi. The city was named after Nawab Murshid Quli Khan. It is known as the last capital city of independent Bengal before the colonial times. Still, the place is surrounded by greenery and a hub of historical monuments.

Our property, the Murshidabad River Side Retreat, is in contrast to the historical vibe with the modern architecture and amenities. Yet, you will find that it is one of the best options to stay for a few nights in Murshidabad for a great weekend trip. The place is located on the banks of the river Bhagirathi, in the Laal Bag area. Walk on the paved path through the garden by the river, and you will reach your room. The balcony or the windows offer a good view of the river. You can also relax with a friend group or families on the lawn or on the covered sitting spaces by the river here. Enjoy a great sunset view if you return in the afternoon, and then enjoy snacks with tea under the stars. The great service from the experienced staff is another reason for a great stay of satisfied customers.
