Local hikes and Treks : This is a great place for a weekend trip with friends and family, and there are a number of short trek routes which passes through pine, chestnut forest and cardamom plantation. Also, there are long trek routes that pass through tea gardens and medicinal plantations, towards a hillock with a view of the surroundings.
Tea Garden visit and Tea Tasting Season : There are a number of tea gardens nearby which can be visited with prior permission for a photoshoot session or to experience the processing of the Darjeeling tea collected from the plantations.
Camp-Fire : In the lawn or in nearby properties, campfire and barbecue can be arranged upon the request of the guests, to have a beautiful evening with friends and family, under the starlit sky.
Bird-Watching and Wildlife : Owing to the nearby eco-park and plantations, frequent wildlife and bird sighting occur in this place, especially during the morning hours, like thrushes, sunbirds etc.
Water Rafting : Whitewater rafting in River Teesta which is graded at IV on an international scale, with a series of rapids with varying intensity and character, is a great adventure activity.
Eagle Craig : A great viewpoint and garden on the top of the hill, with a garden and watchtower. On a clear day, it provides a great view of the mountains and the valley. This place also has a water reservoir that supplies water to the whole Kurseong town.
Salamander Lake : Salamander Lake is located 14 km from Kurseong. It is a beautiful green-tinged lake that shelters the endangered species of salamanders of this locality. This place was once famous for boating and hanging out.
Deer Park (Dow hill Park) : The Park is surrounded by dense moss-covered pine forest, with cottages from British Raj era. Deer Park and Dow hill Eco Park is a major tourist attraction in Kurseong. It is recommended to trek to the top and walk back using the shortcuts through the Jungle, to see various local birds and wildlife.
Giddapahar View Point : A few kilometers away from the town, towards Siliguri, this viewpoint is blessed with a magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains.

Rail : The nearest rail-station is New Jalpaiguri Jn. From there it is nearly 32 km away which takes 1 hour to reach by car.
Air : The nearest airport is Bagdogra, 30 km away and takes a car 1 hour to reach the place.
Road : From Kolkata, the property is approximately 580 km away and it takes around 14 hours to reach by NH12 or NH19.
Best Time to Visit
Winter in here is chilling to the bone, but clear sky and shining sun make the stay memorable. Summer is soothing with the temperature around 8 to 20 degree Celsius.
