Or, you can also carry whatever required with you. There are additional health and hygiene measures for the safety of the guests. There is a great view of the garden from the window of every room.

Some sightseers canvas through River Hooghly and the environs of the Bay of Bengal. Nature lovers can go sightseeing around the Villa for relaxing themself after a long day.

The first place is Diamond Harbour, situated on the banks of the river Hoogly and meets the Bay of Bengal. The beauty of the river and the greenery around it attracts every tourist. Another destination is a fort built by colonials. One can have a beautiful view of the river Hooghly from the top of the fort. Ramakrishna Mission ashram is also very popular among the devotees. Another spot is Chingrikali fort, built by Portuguese is stunning with a perfect view of its surrounding.

Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest. It is 59km far from Raichak. Private taxis are available from the Airport.

Trains are available from Howrah Station which is around 55-60 km from Raichak. Local cabs are available from the railway station for the villas.

By road can be the easiest and an affordable way of travelling. Taxis and buses are always travelling from Kolkata to Raichak. Buses are also available from Durgapur, Shantinekatan, Murshidabad. Some visitors also prefer their own cars for comfortable travelling.

Best time to Visit

The best time for visiting Raichak is from October to March when the weather becomes calmer. Summer should be avoided because of heat and humidity. Monsoon in West Bengal is excessive that time should also be ducked for any trip or excursion.
