Sittong is slowly gaining popularity among tourists who look for getaways little differently and in more secluded locations. Sittong is famous for its orange orchards. What we know as world-famous Darjeeling Oranges, are mainly produced in Sittong only.
Sittong comes on the way to Bagdogra or NJP to Darjeeling. On the way, after you reach Lohapool you got ask your driver to take a detour and go towards Sittiong. Sittong comes 33km or almost 1.5 hours before you reach Darjeeling.

The best times to visit Sitong are from March- June, and September- December. Moreover, the whole area has a massive production of oranges in winters so much so that the entire area seems covered in the orange blanket.
