Accommodation :-

The resort has four double bedded wooden cottages, four double bedded normal cottages, two double bedded rooms, two triple bedded rooms , one four bedded room and one six bedded dormitories. All rooms have attached western style toilet , bathrooms with hot shower with 24 hrs running water.

Outdoor activities

This resort have a big dining cum leisure room having indoor games like chess, carom board, Ludo, cards to make you feel better and enjoy the tour.

Space for outdoor games such as cricket and Badminton is also available for you to indulge .

For your adventure the resort have small trekking tour to sillery gaon where you can see the ruins of fort of lepcha dynasty. Bird watching in Damsung hill is highly entertaining. Nearby attractions

Rikisum or Reesume is a scenic place nearby situated on top of densely forested hill top. You can have a bird’s eye view Of the surrounding mountains including the mighty Kanchanjangha. You can also get a panoramic view of Kalimpong , Darjeeling, Gangtok, and others.

Rishi 15 km from pedong this place is at the border of Bengal and Sikkim. You can cross river Rishikhola to enter sikkim through check point.

Tinchuley View point is a hilltop where three bridges meet. This viewpoint offer Lovely views of nearby villages, thickly wooded forest and fields brimming with green paddy. Jelepa Pass and Nathula pass is viewed at very close range.

Sangchhen Gumpa : This is a Bhutanese monastery built in 1706.All the antique belongings of the Fort were kept here after the fort was destroyed.

Cross Hill You will find a cross here thus the name. In 1882 a French missionary father erected this cross.

Best time to visit

Pedong is a nice place to visit throughout the year due to its pleasant weather. Fog wraps the town between monsoon and winter. So best time to visit is from March to May. But as you know clear sky gives best view of mountains so November, December will offer you the best view of Kanchenjungha. Again how can we forget the colourful painting of hill in the spring. Every season always have something to offer you.

From NJP or Bagdogra you can hire a taxi to reach pedong . It takes about 03 hrs. You can also hire shared taxi , if required.
